About the event
Participants will explore how to build a Le Guin world and bring it on stage! Join Shelby Wilkin, Resident Costume Designer and Design Faculty at Beloit College as she discusses visual worlds inspired by Le Guin and will share her own experience as the costume designer for the premier theatre adaptation of Le Guin’s The Left Hand of Darkness, followed by a hands-on workshop where attendees can begin the visual worldbuilding process for Le Guin's novel The Dispossessed.
